The report outlined key tasks for 2025, including Shandong’s strategies to seize opportunities and expand its presence in global markets.
今天，山东省十四届人大三次会议在济南开幕，我们在开幕式上聆听了政府工作报告。报告中阐述了2025年重点工作，其中就提到了山东如何抢抓机遇，扩大国际市场。
First, efforts will focus on building a demonstration zone for institutional openness. This includes accelerating the comprehensive reform of the SCO demonstration zone and organizing high-level events such as the SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference and the SCO International Investment and Trade Expo.
第一，聚力建好制度型开放示范区。加快推进上合示范区综合改革，高水平筹办上合组织地方经贸合作大会、上合组织国际投资贸易博览会等。
Second, a vigorous foreign trade breakthrough initiative will be implemented. 10,000 enterprises are set to expand globally, with intensified efforts to explore emerging markets in South America, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Enterprises will be organized to participate in over 300 overseas exhibitions.
第二，大力实施外贸突破行动。万家企业将走向海外，更大力度拓展南美，中亚，东欧等新兴市场，组织企业参加境外展会300场以上。新建100家公共海外仓，培育跨境电商伙伴。
Third, Shandong aims to become a hub for high-quality foreign investment, leveraging opportunities from the opening up of service industries such as telecommunications, healthcare, and education. Shandong will strengthen regular investment promotion in regions like Europe, the Middle East, and Singapore while deepening collaboration with multinational corporations and leading enterprises.
第三，打造高质量外资聚集地，抓住电信、医疗、教育等服务业领域开放机遇。加强对欧洲、中东、新加坡等地常态化招商，深化与跨国公司和领军企业合作。
We believe that in the future, Shandong will fully leverage its position at the intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative, creating a new frontier for high-level opening-up. China’s door to the world will only open wider, and we warmly welcome friends from all over the globe to visit Shandong.
