On September 18, the Marine Dynamic Remote Sensing Laboratory of China University of Petroleum (East China) showcased a range of cutting-edge marine research equipment. The university has long been committed to marine research and carries out ocean exploration relying on advanced research platforms. Up in space, remote sensing monitors the vast ocean. Down in the lab, a wave flume recreates real waves and currents. The marine dynamic remote sensing system adopts space-ground coordination to interpret the pulse of the ocean and safeguard this blue expanse for all humankind.
