From February 2 to 4, Jonathan Austin, New Zealand’s Ambassador to China, led a delegation on a visit to Shandong Province, traveling to Jinan, Liaocheng, and Binzhou for exchanges and field visits.

The Shandong International Communication Center conducted an exclusive interview with the Ambassador for its Major Country Diplomacy · Shandong Moments program.

During the interview, Ambassador Austin noted that New Zealand and Shandong enjoy extensive cooperation across a wide range of sectors, including investment, trade, tourism, and education. He said the visit to Jinan offered a deeper understanding of the practical details and potential of bilateral cooperation.
